Ways We Help: The Focus of Our Efforts

Hodag10s participated in the CoVantage Cares Campaign in 2024. Our grand total raised during the was $65,215.01!  The entire amount is going towards the Kiwanis Hodag Park Playground and Splash Pad Project.  We also sponsored the adirondack chair earlier in 2024.  This is our biggest donation amount thus far. Thank you to all who contributed!  We truly have the best community who supports us and let's us in turn support our community in BIG ways. 

In October 2025, we were able to gift #TeamAspen a check in the amount of $9,485 to help with Aspen's medical expenses.  The family also received several gift cards and lots of snacks and toys/activities for all 3 kiddos.  We were able to let the kids "shop" our L&M toy donations as well!!

A special thank you to the group of individuals in the Rhinelander community who will be sponsoring the family for Christmas.  SO wonderful!!  

Warm Up Packages were delivered to the Rhinelander Police Department, to be kept in squads and at the department for anybody in need. We also placed a couple on community benches downtown. We have a stock at Northland Insurance Agency as well. 

Thank you to all who donated towards these packages! Each package has a blanket, hat, gloves, socks, hand warmers, toe warmers and an emergency blanket. Some contain handmade scarves that were donated and all contain information from Frederick Place as well!  Everybody deserves to be warm during the cold months. 

Three Hodag10s Beach Libraries have been constructed and placed at local beaches. You can find them at Flick's Resort Bar & Grill, Pine Harbor and The Blind Pig. These will be stocked with beach toys for anyone to use, but we encourage the community to also stock them throughout the summer.  Just like with our Hodag10s Sled Hubs and our Little Free Hodag Pantries, we accept donations of sleds, pantry items and now beach toys all year. You can drop off at Northland Insurance, which is also the home of Hodag10s.

 In November, 2025, we had a nice visit with the 4-H club. 

They gifted several handmade tie blankets 

for our Warm Up Packages! 

We talked about Hodag10s and ways they can get even more involved in the community. What an adorable group of kids, making a difference at a young age already!  

A mom and 6 young children needed their communities support. 

Mom is working two jobs to make ends meet, but had fallen short. 

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond her control, she was recently evicted and was without a home for her and her kids. Thankfully, she was approved to move into a new place, but she didn't have the security deposit covered.  

Hodag10s community was able to raise all $3,000 this mom needed, in less than 24 hours. 

Hodag10s matched/donated the remaining $455 needed to get to the goal.

The silver lining and why we do this:  

"She was pretty speechless! She had brought a family member who shared that this was her ability to escape an abusive relationship and start over so it’s pretty wonderful! 

Thank you, again!!!"

 L&M donated pallets of new toys to Hodag10s!  We passed these toys on to Oneida County Department of Social Services for their Christmas program!  We are so happy to work hand in hand with OCSS throughout the year and are grateful for their support.

 We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our community put us to the challenge creating these sled hubs. 

Three hubs were built - two were placed at sledding hills in the community, for all to use, and the third was donated to Lights of the Northwoods, for families to utilize while visiting the lights and activities.  Community members can use the sleds at their own leisure/risk and can also donate sleds for all to enjoy!   

 Hodag10s, Inc is dedicated to putting our Hodag community first. Our Little Free Hodag Pantries provide a much-needed service for those in dire need. Lend a helping hand and join our efforts today. We accept donations of nonperishable goods and items all year long.

 Surpised a local 13 year old boy that dreamed of having his own mountain bike. 

Within 5 minutes,  somebody had offered to purchase a new bike and another then offered a bike she owned! Because of the community we were able to provide a brand new helmet, bike lock and water bottle! 

The couple that purchased the bike used community monetary donations towards it but then turned around and matched those with a Kohls gift card so this teen could get some new clothes for school.

 4 pallets of toy donations were received from L&M Fleet Supply to be dispersed into our community.  We were able to stock both of our Hodag10s Beach Libraries and store tons of toys in our office space for future need!
